Sibling Rivalry

You can't pet one without the other getting jealous. The girls constantly fight for lap space, whether it be my fathers or my own, they don't like one having more attention than the other. My dad may look irritated, but that's only because I got my camera out, which he's never been a fan of.

Augustine live at Fusion

"Can music save your mortal soul?" All I know is Augustine reminds me why I love music. They get my adrenaline pumping, heart racing, and they inspire me to create. Without them, a piece of my heart would feel empty.

If ice weren't so cold, I'd probably love it more.

Documentary; Coming of Age

As I get older I've noticed one thing, interacting with people has changed a great deal. In one generation, our mothers had to call us inside when it started getting to dark to continue playing outside, or making sure our friends dropped us off at home at the right time so our parents didn't think we were dead, to simply sending them a text message to keep in touch. Many times, people will text something that takes much less time to just call and say, whether it be because the person can't talk, or simply because it's what we've grown use to doing. I'm guilty of it, if anything I text more than I call anyone anymore.

Technology hasn't completely ruined our social skills though, the perks are being able to see and talk to friends that I can't as often because of distance, and can't really call because it's 3am and people around me are sleeping.

The most important thing lately, is learning, about what you know, how much you know about it, how well you can apply your knowledge, where you learned it, and more importantly, what you can pass on to others. So I go to school, I go to classes (when I'm not sick like I've been this week), I learn what I can, but more importantly, I learn it from whoever I can. I would not know nearly as much as I do now about photography if I hadn't the man in the photo below, assisting him and having him around has taught me more than I would've learned in just the first two years at school, and the friends I've made, are the reason I wasn't completely lost and alone my first two years, the people in my life, have shaped it, and they are what make it complete.

When I was little, only my parents and rebellious teenagers smoke. Now, my parents still smoke, kids at younger and younger ages smoke, but I'm older, and 90% of the people I'm around smoke, which isn't a bad thing, I just never would've pictured myself smoking a year ago.

The best part about growing up? I love coming home. I love being able to take a nap in the middle of a restaurant without being teased about being tired, because the one I'm with understands that even with coffee on the table, the day was still long. That I can take a picture, and no matter how much someone hates it, they still let me use it when I want to. I love that what might seem like others to small things in my life, have the biggest impact on my smile.

It's almost impossible for me to catch the best moments, the best things I see, because once I see them, it's over. I could capture them at some point I'm sure, but there are just somethings in life, that even though they make me really happy, and I enjoy sharing that same feeling with others, some things in my life, I want to be just mine, special moments that no one else can enjoy, because that's what made most of them special in the first place.
